Kaspersky Anti-virus

Kaspersky Antivirus ImageThe Kaspersky Anti-virus offers protection from a variety of threats that can do serious damage to your computer. Some of the threats which Kaspersky Anti-virus is built to protect your computer from include: viruses, trojans, worms, rootkits, drive-by download infections and botnets, which is an illegal and remote way of taking over your PC and all of its details.

Some of Kaspersky’s main features include: real-time scanning. The scan checks e-mails, web pages, files to search for malicious codes or downloads. Kaspersky Anti-virus also provides regular updates, and blocks any programmes which may be behaving suspiciously.

Kaspersky’s tools are easy to change and adapt to your specific computer usage. For example if you want to take a break from work to play some games , or if that is what you regularly use your PC for, the Kaspersky Anti-virus allows you to turn on Game Mode. This suspends alerts, scans and updates so that you can game uninterrupted.

Other features include; Virtual Keyboard, which keeps all logins and passwords secure when you enter them; a simple way to remove all traces of your Internet browsing, for example your history or cookies; ability to increase your OS and Internet browser security to make sure you are completely safe when browsing the web; and a scan system that that checks the whole system as well as installed applications.

If a threat has managed to take hold of your computer, Kaspersky Anti-virus provides a Rescue Disc which can be burnt to restore your system. And if you do find yourself on an unsafe website, Kaspersky Anti-virus’ toolbar will warn you. The Urgent Detection System means that Kaspersky Anti-virus does not keep you computer safe from existing threats only, but also from new and emerging viruses and malware.

Kaspersky Anti-virus can be bought for up to 5 PCs, and be licensed for up to 2 years.
